It is important for molds, especially for the plastic molds to be smooth on surface. As the plastic industry is developing, customers  demand a higher level of product surface and appearance. Nevertheless, the super-precise processing technology is also growing rapidly, most of polishing still has to be done manually with electronic tools due to the complicated mold cavity shape. During the process of mold manufacture, the time spent on polishing and closing accounts for 30% of total mold manufacture time. If this part of time is reduced, the production cost can be lowered, and economic efficiency and the company’s integrated competitiveness be increased. As for the quality defects of steel mold building materials occurred over recent years such as tiny pores and wrinkles etc., the company masters a set of treatment methods based upon many years of practice to improve molds by around 90%.
